Sublimation vs. Branded Labels: Choosing a Custom Bikini Method
There are two main ways to make a bikini “custom.” All-over sublimation dyes your artwork directly into the fabric. Branded labels add a woven or embroidered logo to an otherwise clean stock style. Picking the right one comes down to what you’re trying to say and how many you need.
When sublimation wins
Choose all-over sublimation when the print is the product: a signature pattern, a full-color logo repeat, or a colorway no stock supplier carries. Sublimation is permanent — it can’t crack or peel — and it’s ideal for swimwear brands, influencer drops, and bold bachelorette sets.
When branded labels win
Choose branded labels when you want a clean, retail-classic look and the logo is a finishing touch. A solid suit with a small woven tag reads premium and understated — perfect for resorts, boutiques, and hospitality programs. Labels also let you start at lower quantities.

Choosing for your order
If your audience should remember the design, sublimate. If they should remember the brand on a timeless suit, use labels. Many programs do both. When you request a quote, tell us the vibe and we’ll recommend the method.
